I am seeking advice on how to best set up confluence for my situation.
I have a separate space for each department, and I have been mandated to lock off each department to be viewable (and editable) only to members of that department
I am trying to figure out where or how I should post pages which are of interest to people of multiple departments.
I have a free public site, where anyone can view, but that is of no use here.
Presently, I copy the page between both department spaces, but I find this unsatisfactory.
Does anyone have a better suggestion, given my mandate?
Hi Andrew,
I think the most sensible thing would to be have the Spaces that are for each department and then to setup at least one "global" Space where content is visible to various users. If this isn't an option then I would install a plugin, such as the Copy Page Tree plugin so that you can copy the pages into multiple Spaces without having to manually copy and paste the page into each Space concurrently.
All the best,
John
