Adding a link in Confluence doesn't allow you to search JIRA

When I try to add a link in Confluence it gives me the option to search for what I want to link to, but that search apparently doesn't search JIRA. So when I enter a search term like "PROJECT-123" the search returns no results. Is there any way to add the ability to search JIRA into this search dialog?

This widget could not be displayed.

Brian, if it still happens, this most likely requires a configuration of application links that Atlassian can perform on your behalf. I'd suggest you to raise a support ticket with us.
