Access to "real" content of a page

Christian Christian November 28, 2011
Hi guys! Is there a way to directly access the content of a page? Normally you do have all the "overhead" information like menu, borders, navigation bar, ... I am looking for a way to access the pure content of a page. Is there a trick how this can be achieved? Thanks, Christian

You can use the Confluence Remote API to access the raw content of a page (see https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Confluence+XML-RPC+and+SOAP+APIs ).

Alternatively, if you just want to see the page as-is in your browser, without any of the Confluence "theme" around it, then just add "?printable=true" to the end of the URL. For example: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+Documentation+Home?printable=true

This displays the page in a "print-friendly" format.
