Access to a forbidden Confluence page

Bogdan Dumitru Stan January 3, 2024

Hi,

How do I give someone access to a specific Confluence page?

The page is part of a page, for which the user has Administrator role.

I have Administrator and Confluence Admin role, but I also don't have access to this specific page.

The Owner of the space is no longer working with the company, and there is no option to change the Owner of the space.

What options do I have to grant the user access to a specific restricted Confluence page?

Thank you.

You can give yourself Space Admin Permissions in the Confluence Settings > Security > Space Permissions > Individual Space (Filter by Key, not Name) > Recover Permissions

You should then be able to access the Space and see all Restricted pages.

However we found, that in some cases even an Admin cannot gain access to restricted pages or even see them. Just try it out and hope for the best ;)
