We have an internal Confluence instance that all staff have access to.
I would like to set up a calendar that all staff can access to post or find internal car parking spots. This would involve a user listing that their spot would be available on a certain day and then another user claiming that spot. A "token" or some sort of currency would then be transferred from one user to another as "payment" for that spot.
Does a variant of this exist where users can be given a limited number of points/currency/tokens and they can transfer them to one another?
Hello Simon, that is an intersting and original usage, there aren't add ons that can perform that currently (though development of this should be feasible). I have commented on a possible rudimentary method to apply the parking lot exchange using TC and process practices between the team.
You could use a variety of unique numbers to be distributed among employees, this numbers would also be displayed in an index sheet for later verification. Then whenever the trade takes place the number gets scratched from the giver and from the index sheet with dates (that would a process, not a programatic function).
That can be done with current TC functionality - another alternate would be to use QR codes images to be scanned.
Hope this can be of some help.
