A group I added doesn't show up as available under Space -> Permissions -> Group

Using the Confluence cloud trial.

I added a new group by clicking the link in the Confluence Settings which took me to the Site administration groups.

However, this new group doesn't show up as available to add in the Spaces -> Permissions -> Groups UI.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

A contributing factor? I started with JIRA as an enabled app and then disabled it.

I also get this error if I try to delete the group:

Error communicating with Confluence: Internal Server Error

Not sure if somebody fixed something for me, but it's working now this morning. A little mysterious.

Not working for me right now  

I definitely have the group created and saved, yet doesn't show up in the permissions section of the spaces. Super strange.
