401, 403, 404 Errors for Internal Rest Calls -- Confluence 6.2

Trevor Steen May 28, 2017

I am repeadtedly seeing this type of error in my nginx access logs (IP removed):

67.11.xxx.xxx - - [27/May/2017:09:44:29 -0500] "GET /rest/mywork/latest/status/notification/count?_=1495896271415 HTTP/1.1" 401 115 "https://confluence.example.com/display/OSCP/Pasteables" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36"

There are different referrers but the common part is the "/rest/mywork/latest/status/notification/count" part in the request URI.

The only thing I can think of is that somehow the request is not taking my subdomain into account.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Running Confluence 6.2 on Ubuntu 16.04
