we are using confluence licensed version, and user is managed through LDAP active directory, User of LDAP has admin access and was able change the settings, we have disabled user directroy which has admin user, we tried to change some global permissions through LDAP user(admin access )and we got a error no permissions and the admin access of that user was lost and now we are unable browse the user directory(to enable directory which contains admin user), Please suggest a way to enable the admin.
Now we are struck with critical issues which require admin access.
In short,we lost admin access.we are awaiting for your support.
Take a look at this page:

This won't affect your Jira instance as the password override is only set on the Confluence system using the startup parameter:
-Datlassian.recovery.password=<your-password>

Thanks David, In our env admin access of confluence is available through the jira internal directory, if we make any changes in confluence as suggested in link does it effect jira admin user as well?
