What is the reason behind not allowing us to hide the page author and page history from confluence? For a feature that has been requested for so many years, and something which surely could be added easily? Along with the many users who would be able to start using this for external documentation (Including us), I feel like there must be some larger reason that this has not been addressed.
Is there some strategy around not wanting confluence to be used for external documentation?
