Confluence data center login issue

jameers January 12, 2018

Hi,

I have deployed confluence data center in AWS.

My infra is: ELB, 2 EC2 instances, RDS, EFS (shared). I did clustering. when i login into the application with admin credentials , it is getting in and immediately getting logout when i use ELB endpoint. if i login with ip address individually it is successfully login. but when i use endpoint login is not happening. i checked the cluster, it is working. Can you please tell me reason.

No errors thrown in the atlassian-confluence.log. The following warning flashes quickly and user is redirected to the login page

Thanks

Hi @jameers

It appears the ELB configuration is not accurate, sticky session should be enabled.

can you check ELB configuration for HTTP and HTTPS access ? by following the instructions given in the below Atlassian KB articles

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/integrating-jira-jira-data-center-with-aws-elb-http-https-and-redirection-942841242.html

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-configure-amazon-web-service-elastic-load-balancer-with-confluence-6-0-859515417.html

If possible, share the warning error message, so that, I can review and give additional inputs.

Thanks,

Kiran.
