Hi, I have a Wacom enabled PC and would like to use the pen to draw directly on the Whiteboard. Currently this dosent seem to be supported.
Drawing is supported by most competitor whiteboard tools, like Microsoft Whiteboard and Miro.
Hey @Pål Kristensen we'll have a pen tool landing in the product some time in the coming months!

This is great news! Inking is the key feature we need to get real value from the Atlassien Whiteboard product.
Can you please be a little more precise on the launch date?

The pen tool is now not mentioned anymore in the roadmap. Are the plans for inking abandoned? I would really like to know, because if that's the case then there is no reason for us to wait for Atlassian Whiteboards. We can instead immediately start looking at alternatives.

Any news on the ETA for freehand drawing? This is a really important feature for us, and currently the main missing feature we need before start using Whiteboards more actively in our organization. We do get nagged about Miro all the time now, mainly because of this missing freehand feature.

Only this company could have a whiteboard without the ability to free draw...

Yes I have an Ipad with Sketchbook, Procreate and Clip Studio, and a wacom tablet for sketching designs and ideas, plus note taking esp. during meetings / design reviews, sketching is an integral part of the design process.
For me PDF's in a well organized file structure is still better than Confluence at the moment, it would almost be a job in it's self just transferring all my work onto confluence, quite inefficient.
