I am trying to show all current open JIRA tickets in confluence. I want to use a word as a filter but when I am using the CONTAINS command, I receive an error. Any help would be appreciated.
More specifically I am trying to filter out a specific PROJECT that CONTAINS a specific word.
i tried the following search: project = 'projectname' contains ~ specific word
There's no "contains" statement in JQL but you're almost there with the tilde.
Try
project = "project name" and my-text ~ specific-word
In there, my-text is the name of the field you want to search for specific-word. If you want to look through all the text fields (including summary, description, environment and any other text fields you've created), then the key word is "text"
project = "project name" and text ~ specific-word
