Questions on Confluence Cloud

Bo (Manussanan Sawangvareesakul) September 26, 2018

Hi There

May company is considering to use confluence cloud and we have be doing some impact assessment recently.

So we do have questions below which need you assistance to support our decision

1. We noticed that confluence on cloud has a storage limitation as per describe in the page here. The question is "Is the storage limitation is based on a user or all users"

for example: if we subscribe for 0-500 users, the limitation would be 25GB for all users?

2. We are aware that confluence cloud do not provide option to restrict access via IP address. However if a user access the confluence from home, can we restrict their permission to be readonly ?

3. Can confluence cloud integrated with google slide?

4. How much would it be for migration cost

I would be appreciated if you can get back to us by Thursday 27 Sep

Thank you

  1. 500 users will take you into the larger storage limit (100Gb last time I looked).  This is not per user of course, it's for the full 500
  2. Users are granted permissions by being in groups and roles.  IP, location etc are all irrelevant, it's about who they are.
  3. Possibly, depends on what you mean by "integrate"
  4. You will need to buy new Cloud services, and then run a project to do the migration.  The length and hence costs of that will be roughly proportional to the size and complexity of your data and how you choose to import it
