How to store meeting minutes in one page only

Hi 

I would like the meeting notes to template to create a new template but within the same page over and over instead of creating many pages. is that possible? furthermore, i would like to filter by date or key words on the meeting notes page.

I am slightly confused by this question.  When I use the meeting notes template to create a page, I get a page.  Not many pages, just one new one each time I want to write up a meeting.  What are you seeing it do that is different from that?  Or what do you want it to do that is different?

The searching and filtering question is very clear.  I tend to alter the template so that when you use it, it stamps today's date into the page properties.
