How do you access or update metadata. Ever since the new Confluence editor, the Page Properties Macro will not work.
I have read cryptic suggestions about metadata but none have indicated where or how to access it.
Hi Lisa. We use the Page Properties Macro quite extensively in the new editor on Confluence Cloud. There was a bug earlier this past Autumn where the hide parameter for the Page Properties Macro was ignored, but other than that it seems to work fine for us.
What exactly do you mean when you say it will not work?
To edit Page Properties you have to edit the page and change the data in the table you have put inside your Page Properties Macro.
To access Page Properties you can for instance use the Page Properties Report Macro, or you could call this metadata and display it in header or footer of pages exported using Scroll Word Exporter for Confluence Cloud. We use both these ways to access the Page Properties.
