Hello! Does anyone know if there is a bug related to the export from JIRA into a CSV file? I've been trying to export my list of issues and the result is just a blank page.
Thanks
My guess is that you're trying to open an excel export in excel and save it to CSV?
If so, then my first assumption would be that you've run into a known bug in excel - https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/39432356
(It's arguable that the behaviour is a bug, but "not telling the user I'm going to lose their data and waste their time" definitely is)
I'm exporting a filter to Excel and when I want to open it is blank. Excel version is 14.0.7166.5000. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/39432356 I don't think it solves the issue

Ok, with the file you save, try opening it with a text editor - does it look like it contains your data? And it looks broadly correct as xml (if you have an xml aware editor, those will often check and highlight errors)
If the file is valid, then it's a problem with Excel.
