An user who has been granted a permission has no access to Space.

Hi there,

 

An user, added to a group is not able to have access to a Space. All other users in this group have access.

 

What I am missing?

Hi @Tatjana_Nedeva !

Does the user have access to any other spaces in your Confluence instance?

There are a couple of group considerations involved with access in Confluence Cloud. The first is the group that has permissions to a specific space, and I assume that is what you are asking about. The permission for this group is set under Space Settings in the space.

Additionally, a user also needs to be a member of a group that has access to the Confluence product. This is configured in Settings by an administrator. For example, in the screenshot below, if the user is not a member of at least one of the groups shown, they will not be able to access any spaces.

Hi Darryl,

 

Thank you for your reply. All users' permissions were fine. However, I found another level of restrictions set up on the space overview. So I added this user and he has access now.

unfortunately, it was not straight forward finding it. it took me quite long to figure it out.
