How to get the old editor back

Jenni Järvinen May 2, 2020

I've found a way to get the old editor going.

If you have a page done with the old editor, in the top-right menu choose "Export to Word"

In the new editor, in the top-right menu choose "Import Word document" and choose the same document you exported in the previous step.

After importing the Word document into a page, just delete the contents and start with a blank page - the old editor is still in use.

PS. The link is Word document created by old editor. Worked for me!

Hi Dave,

You do have to have the template enabled in your instance. Additionally, when you are trying to apply it on a new page you will sometimes have to search for it by name. It can be hidden. Two help documents are below

Wonder if I missed the window for the "legacy editor page" template because I don't have that option.

I tried the linked page but it didn't work for me, still see the current editor.

Instead of those steps, why don't you open the template that is called legacy editor page?
