BUG: duplication of repositories

JoMi February 8, 2022

Good day Atlassian team!

I've noticed a bug in Compass.

Look at the first screenshot

compass-1.png

And now look at the second screenshot:

compass-3.png

I defined repository only once in the file: compass.yml
But in the "Overview" of my service there are 3 same repositories!

  • 1 appeared after adding links using Settings
  • 1 appeared after adding initial file compass.yml (via Bitbucket Online)
  • 1 appeared after adding an update of file compass.yml (via Bitbucket Online)

None has replied since Feb 08, valuable? Are you sure?

Hi @Jo, thanks for reporting this bug about duplication repository links. As discussed in this thread , we believe it's now resolved.

I'll reply privately to make sure things are looking good in your case.

Hi,

This is definitely not resolved. I've been fixing the `compass.yml` file, moving links around, then committing a new version. It appears to only be appending the changes as new entries and not removing old entries.

When my compass.yml file looks like

id: ari:cloud:compass:xxx:component/xxx/xxx

name: xxx

description: xxx

ownerId: 'ari:cloud:teams::team/xxx'

fields:

tier: 1

links:

- type: DOCUMENT

url: https://xxxxxx.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XX

- type: PROJECT

url: https://xxxxxx.atlassian.net/browse/XX

relationships:

DEPENDS_ON:

- 'ari:cloud:compass:xxx:component/xxx/xxx'

(xxx is redacting ids)
