As a serial over-thinker, I often catch myself getting hung up on the approach and not enough focus on putting the plan into action.
Many of us are familiar with the Nike slogan "Just do it", and there's a lot of truth to that statement. But still, every organization, company or group needs a purpose in order for it to exist. Once a company no longer solves a business need, it can become irrelevant or even disband. The same goes for non-profits and even departments of government.
How do you ensure that your company user group remains active and useful to the coworkers around you? How do you guard against burnout and continue to deliver a meaningful experience to attendees?
Getting a CUG started is certainly an achievement, but let's not overlook how difficult it can be to keep it going. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
