Test failes only in Clover

My envrionment is using Clover 4.0.4.

Java 8, but compile source and compile target are 1.5. 

If I execute test using mvn install, then all test were passed in maven sure fire report showed clean build. 

But som reason if I execute mvn clean clover2:instrument clover2:aggregate clover2:clover, then I got test fails with the error of java.lang.NullPointerException so Clover reports showed that we have tests failed.

By coincidence there was huge change in the project yesterday, and this issue was gone after the huge change.

Could give us more information about the problem?

1. Is every test failing or only some of them?
2. Are you seeing any pattern on failed tests? 
3. Could you run:
   
   

mvn clean clover2:instrument clover2:aggregate clover2:clover -X

and attach the stacktrace here? 

You can create issue on support.atlassian.com if you want to attach more sensitive data.
