Can we use it in this way by putting this line in build.xml and placing the .db file in the same location.
We are trying to find the coverage of an application in the server.
Yes, in case you are building and running and different machines, you can copy the clover.db file(s) to a second machine and put in the same location. Clover hardcodes the "initstring" path in instrumented code, so it should be able to find the file.
Alternatively, you can use -Dclover.initstring or -Dclover.initstring.basedir runtime options to instruct Clover where to find the database file. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/clover/jvm-properties-687218054.html for more details.
