Does clover not give coverage if we use 1 month old instrumented build?

We are using a month old instrumented build to find coverage on multi-node machines... i.e VM's.

It's not giving any coverage but we can see coverage.db.liverec file in the recordings folder.

If I recall correctly, Clover drops coverage recordings files if there's too big gap between instrumentation session and the date where coverage recording was taken. I don't remember exact numbers though. If that's important to you, feel free to consult it with Clover source code since Clover is now open source  and available for all.

However, in the case you mention. Since there's liverec file I suppose JVM wasn't properly shutdown and not all coverage data was flushed to hard drive. You shall shutdown gracefully the JVM with kill -2 or kill -15. Alternatively, you may want to consider changing flush policy to other than directed
