I get this error from (Ant) Clover 3.1.10 when it tries to instrument one of our projects with Groovy (1.7) code.
ERROR: Clover-for-Groovy encountered an error while loading config:
There is no more output.
We build from Gradle, using the Ant clover (if that matters).
I've tried adding debug options as suggested in https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/7304/any-pointers-on-what-might-be-wrong-using-clover-with-gradle-for-groovy
But there is no additional output generated after this.
Unlike the other case, the instrumentation database is created, and coverage is collected for some of the classes. But not all.
How can I help you find out what the problem is?
This is due to Clover plugin assuming ant.jar is on the classpath.
It wasn't in my project, so it failed. A new issue has been created for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOV-1254
I work around the problem by adding ant.jar to the project classpath (even though Ant is not used in our project).
Hi Jesper, feel free to raise a ticket at https://support.atlassian.com (project "Clover Support") and attach logs, build file used etc. I'll be happy to investigate it.

Thanks, I've created a small projct that displays the problem.
Unfortunately, you're Jira is beyond slow at the moment and doesn't allow me to create issues. I'll try again tomorrow.
