Clover - Test contribution and test run explorer are empty

Dragan October 15, 2012

Hi,

I dowloaded your trial version of Clover, i am using it with eclipse and i have few problems.

This is my situation:

I have a project which is server and my tests are simulating client requests and my tests are in separate project named Test.

1. When i start my testcases which are jUnit tests, i get Coverage explorer filled with coverage data for server project, but my clover dashboard tab says: "No test results could be found. Please ensure that you have instrumented your unit tests correctly"!

2. Also my test contributions tab remains empty and test run explorer.

3. My client is flash client, so is it posible that clover makes code coverage while i am clicking my flash client, because for now only i can do is to run my tests and cover the server code?!

Please tell me how to setup my enviroment because i can not do it.

Regards,

Dragan Basta

Is there any chance that your server is actually running in a separate JVM than unit tests?

Could you confirm that after test execution:

  • you see server classes marked green in java editor and
  • you see unit test classes marked green too
  • but test contributions are empty when you open any server class in editor?

Are you talking about Clover Dashboard view in Eclipse or about Dashboard in HTML report?
