It says clover is open source we do not need any license key to download or renew it, but the fact is when I downloaded and installed openclover in my eclipse it says  "license key invalid/missing" so I am unable to generate reports, can nay one please help me with it ?

Hello, Clover is open source and you can grab its sources here. The binaries provided by Atlassian which are available were generated before Clover was open source and are still available for customers who bought Clover. 

I'm still facing the same problem "license key invalid/missing" what can be possible workaround to this problem.
