The clover intellij plugin says license expired and I go to Clover website it says clover has been opensourced. But how about the plugin ? is it opensourced or not ?
That's correct. The source code of a IntelliJ Plugin lies within main Clover repository. You can grab its code here.
Thanks for your answer, Do I have to go to the opensource and clone it then edit the code my self in order to fix license expired error ? because the development seems inactive.

Hi, Clover development was stopped the day it was open sourced. If you require more information please refer to FAQ and announcement blog.
Clover is open source and you can use and fork its source code (released under Apache License 2.0. license) free of charge. Clover code does not require any license anymore.
If you have troubles with building Clover from source code you may consider trying out any of the Clover forks community has prepared already.
