stash /opt/stash/logs/ files stopped getting updated

Deleted user April 1, 2014

the /opt/stash/logs directory files have not been updated for 5 days although I can see the $stash_home/log directory files are getting updated all time.

What's the reason the /opt/stash/logs stopped gettting updated?

What the diffrence between the two sets of log files?

We stash version 2.11.4.

I'm talking about the /opt/stash/logs directory ( which has catalina.$date.log and local.$date.log), not the STASH_HOME/logs.

Thanks.

Stash writes its log files to the STASH_HOME/log directory. The STASH_HOME/logs directory is used by the Atlassian Support Tools plugin to write thread dumps and other files that it creates when you create a support zip.

So the logs directory would only get updated when you create a support zip (probably 5 days ago?)

Hope that clears things up!

Hi Michael:

I'm talking about the /opt/stash/logs directory files ( like catalina.$date.log and localhost.$date.log) not getting updated in 5 days, not STASH_HOME/logs.

Thanks.
