Hello.
I run macOS.
I made my first repo in bitbucket. Then as instructed I issued
$ git clone https://pcnUpenn@bitbucket.org/pcnUpenn/myplayground.git
But bash said:
xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun
Now, one suspicious thing is that after joining bitbucket I never installed git. So /usr/bin/git was lying around left over from some historical period (possibly when I installed GitHub Desktop.app).
Thanks.
OK, I found my solution, then hit a second wall: Solution is
xcode-select --install
The next wall is that the git clone command requests my password. I created the account using SSO authentication. But git clone is not accepting that password. Thanks again.
And here is a solution to the second wall:
One workaround I found was to abandon the command line and install SourceTree. I'd still be interested in a command-line solution.
