myaccount.bitbucket.io file changes are not reflected

Urban Andersson September 11, 2017

When a page - i.e. myaccount.bitbucket.io/scripts/script.js - is edited and commited at bitbucket.org, the changes are not reflected on the public site, i.e. https://myaccount.bitbucket.io/scripts/script.js still returns the old content, not the latest commit.

https://bitbucket.org/myaccount/myaccount.bitbucket.io/raw/HEAD/scripts/scripts.js displays the latest version.

From the Header returned, it looks like the public page is cached: X-Cache-Info: cached

Am I missing something here? Many thanks for any help.

Hi! I've seen that you have 2 repositories with similar names, and the one you updated last is not the right one. Keep in mind that the repository name has to be <accountname>.bitbucket.io. It might be a good idea to remove the invalid one to avoid any confusion in the future.

Also, please confirm that you followed the right steps for the creation of the repository and the index, this is explained at at Publishing a website.

Let us know if that was causing your issue!

Best regards,

Ana

Of course, you are right. A stupid mistake by me.

It's working perfectly now. Thank you very much!
