in stash is there a way where in the clone url we can replace the default username "git" that appears to the one of the user

RAJESHP January 13, 2014

when i copy the clone url it looks like

ssh://git@stash.guidewire.com/YY/XX.git

and this is when i am logged into the UI of stash and looking to clone a repository with the ssh protocol and the key uploaded.

wondering if the copy url could be with my ldap username which i already used to login.

Thanks and it is what I had guessed and right exactly how it works Now the basis for the question was if there is a way to find who did the push ?

Hi Rajesh,

The username in the SSH URL is completely ignored by Stash. It's worth noting that both Bitbucket and Github do exactly the same thing.

Cheers,
