how to see with repos are getting used (stash)

johnathansmith January 28, 2015

I am a new stash admin lol... and I am trying to find out some easy way to do this.. I created about 48 repos for projects in my firm but I would like to somehow run a report or something to find out which repos have source code in them and which ones dont.

we want to check to see if users are really using stash

One way to track events occurring in Stash is to analyze its audit log. In your specific example, you might want to log pushes to Stash repositories. As this event (RepositoryPushEvent) is one with low priority, you would have to set

audit.highest.priority.to.log=LOW

in order to get it logged. See here for details: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Stash+config+properties#Stashconfigproperties-Audit

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Michael
