fork

Tony Olech April 1, 2015

I have Stash installed on a Windows Laptop (for evaluation) and specified a windows network drive for the meta data and repositories.

Mostly Stash appears to work but it fails to "fork" a repository

Please help

A fork has an 'alternate' file that points to the parent repository. My guess is that your fork is failing because git does not recognize the UNC path to the parent.

If you're just evaluating, you might want to move your STASH_HOME to a local disk. Alternatively, you can create a symlink and configure Stash to use the local path.
