in a step i am triggering a custom pipeline of a different repository. The pipeline in different repo runs, but its output is not seen in the repository which triggered it.Is there a way to fetch the output and display it in pipeline which actually triggered the custom pipe?

G'day, @Chetan Shah

Welcome to the community!

If you are simply looking for information on whether the other pipeline build succeeded or failed, you can enable it in Atlassian/trigger pipe wait, which will wait until the pipeline build on the other repository build end and update the pipe to succeed or failure.

However, if you looking for the whole build results output from another repository pipeline build then I believe this is not possible.

If you have a good use case for why you require this, I can help you raise a feature request.
