com.atlassian.bamboo.repository.RepositoryException: Build foo failed to check SVN repository

When we create a release tag and initiate a manual build, we (consistently) receive the following error: failed to check SVN repository

The stacktrace yields: File not found: revision 7037, path '/Project/tags/REL-3.4.0/foo/foo-monitor'

The stacktrace is accurate as there is no REL-3.4.0 tag at r7037 -- the tag was created well after that revision. We are currently able to get around the issue by re-building the last release tag, which seems to allow Bamboo to pull in the correct revision state of the repository. At that point, we can then build the tag we want.

A bit of background on your setup:

* standard SVN repo structure Project/{branches,tags,trunk}

* we use global variables for driving the version of the branch, tag we wish to build

* ${bamboo.qa.ver}, ${bamboo.prod.ver}

* this configuration worked without incident in the version of Bamboo we were running previously (3.4.x)

Any ideas?

Fixed in Bamboo 4.3.3

I keep seeing 'Fixed in Bamboo 4.3.3. This may not be true according to Simone Longoni, he states "... Any luck with Atlassian Support? How did you get it solved?

I have the same issue with a couple of plans on Bamboo 4.4.3 and Subversion 1.6x...." (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/141927/svn-checkout-fails-while-running-job-in-bamboo)
