Hi,
I want to change the http clone method to https. I've set up nginx to forward ssl traffic to the 7990 port and that works, but how do I make Stash (bitbucket) show HTTPS instead of HTTP and 7990 in the dropdown of available clone methods?
Thanks,
Sergei
Hello Sergei,
You should find what you need here: securing-bitbucket-server-behind-nginx-using-ssl.
Cheers,
Ahmed
Hi Ahmed,
The article did describe the steps needed to put Bitbucket behind nginx, but I'm still not quite clear on what controls the available clone URLs in the clone dropdown. Is there a configuration parameter(s) to force a certain clone method to appear in the dropdown?
Thanks again,
Sergeti

Hi,
The URL is controlled by the "base URL". The guide shared by Ahmed has a step to update it: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/secure-bitbucket-behind-nginx-using-ssl-776640112.html#SecureBitbucketbehindnginxusingSSL-Step3:Change'sbaseURL
You can read more about the base URL for Bitbucket on this documentation page as well.
(Just checking a few older threads here, I hope you found the answer already to this but I'm still leaving for others who might see this thread)
