Why are there zero hits and misses on the cache in some git operations?

Derek Nguyen May 8, 2015

Just started using this logparser tool (https://bitbucket.org/ssaasen/stash-log-parser) to get some usage stats.

Does anyone know why 0 hits and 0 misses are shown for the same operations?

For example if 6 clone operations are reported, shouldn't we see the total of hits and misses equaling 6?

Thanks

Hi Stefan,

It looks like the stats were read incorrectly.  We still need to analyze the stats and investigate if our Stash instance or environment needs to be configured differently.

Very nice parsing tool, btw smile

Thanks,

Derek

this would be a great plugin to provide as a http://www.splunk.com dashboard. I'm currently pointing splunk to the stash log files to do some easy grepping, but a real log parser would be awesome

Hey Derek,

Could you please raise an issue https://bitbucket.org/ssaasen/stash-log-parser/issues?status=new&status=open with an example input file that leads to this result?

Cheers,

Stefan
