What should a valid webhook response look like?

juc52 September 22, 2017

I've been using a simple webhook to signify pushes to one of my repo, and I've been using an empty response and it worked fine.

Until recently, I still receive posts from the webhook but it always says TIMEOUT in bitbucket logs, what would be a valid response?

Hi Junhui ,

The timeout message is related to the request timed out before connecting. This means that the webhooks attempted to reach the destination server but it exceeds the time that was configured.

If you are using the same message as before, please check the destination that you point the webhooks.

If you change the message, please make sure it is not a message big enough to create a bottleneck on the destination server.
