What is the content shown in the 'source' in bitbucket

Hi Team,

In Bitbucket, you are able to view the code stored in repo when clicking on the 'source' tab (in the left hand side under Navigation). The source that is viewed here, is it from the latest commit?

Warm Regards,

-Jewel
