What does "on hold" mean in Bitbucket issues?

Arlo Faria February 4, 2019

In the Bitbucket issue tracker (not JIRA) there is a workflow status called "on hold"; there is no status called "in progress" as would be typical in JIRA.

Should I assume that "on hold" in Bitbucket means the same thing as "in progress" in JIRA?

Hi Arlo,

You can give it any meaning you want. Within the Bitbucket team, we use the "On hold" status when further info is needed on a reported bug/feature, or when further testing is necessary to see if the issue is reproducible.

But if you'd like to use it for something different, that's up to you :)

Let us know if you have any other questions,

Ana
