What could cause a single Git LFS operation exhaust the LFS concurrent Connections limit?

Hi Community!

I was wondering why a single Git LFS operation (upload/download an object), may exhaust the limit concurrent connection permitted. E.x: Bitbucket by default, allows 80 concurrent connections and if the request exceeds the limit, a HTTP status 503 is returned. So, why a single request may open several connections?
