What can cause the loss of bamboo to mercurial connectivity?

Robert VanPelt December 21, 2011

We recently upgraded from Bamboo 3.2 to 3.4 and Mercurial stopped working. Build using Subversion repositories seem to work fine but as soon as Bamboo attempts to access a Mercurial repository the build hangs. It makes a connection attempt but no further. No errors in any log files under Bamboo. Build never really launches just ahngs waiting fo rthe Hg connection. Any suggestions?

Things are working now...problem was the credentials we specified to use with the service when we upgraded to the newer version of Bamboo.

in plan repository(ies) settings, which authentication do you use? "SSH with passphrase" or "SSH without passphrase"? Also - check your agent/server logs if there are some "interactive" requests to accept remote host fingerprint hanging.

Hm, which protocol do you use to access your Hg repositories? SSH maybe?
