We have moved our stash, bamboo and jira servers around

Chris Turner October 12, 2017

They all have new IP addresses and I need to know the files where I make config changes in Stash to point to Jira. This is because I'm now receiving the error "The remote authentication server is not available. Please try again later."

Hi Chris,

A couple things:

  1. If you're using JIRA as the user directory you need to whitelist the Stash IP in JIRA's User Directory
  2. If you are using a FQDN and you changed the IP addresses you should be set once you whitelist the Stash IP, however, if you're using IP addresses you'll need to delete and re-create the App Links on Stash and JIRA

Try that and let us know if you're good to go.

Cheers,

Branden
