Using the Bitbucket Server Backup Client help

Tripline November 19, 2018

Trying to follow this https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/using-the-bitbucket-server-backup-client-776640064.html

There's something wrong with my Dbitbucket.home which I assume is Bitbucket's parent directory. The error is could not resolve placeholder "bitbucket.home"

java -Dbitbucket.password="password" -Dbitbucket.user="user" -Dbitbucket.baseUrl="http://localhost:7990" -DBitbucket.home=D:/Atlassian/Bitbucket/5.15.1 -Dbackup.home=C:/Users/bc-admin/Desktop/bitbucket-backup-distribution-3.4.0/bitbucket-backup-client-3.4.0 -jar bitbucket-backup-client.jar

Hi Cher

I could see that you have specified -DBitbucket.home=D:/Atlassian/Bitbucket/5.15.1

bitbucket.home is the directory where the data is stored. Please see Bitbucket Home

Is this Bitbucket home directory ?

Does that directory exist?

Have you tried by quoting that using "" ? Does it make any difference?

-DBitbucket.home=D:/Atlassian/ApplicationData/Bitbucket
I reinstalled to verify I know where the home directory is. Yes it exist.

Could not replace placeholder bitbucket.home in variable "${bitbucket.home}" is the error I get.
