Using Jira User Directory for Stash - Connecting Stash with Jira

Brad Ruderman September 11, 2013

Hi-

I am attempting to integrate Stash with Jira for user management. I am following the directions here:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Connecting+Stash+to+JIRA+for+user+management

I have created an application link between Stash and Jira, however I can't see the "Jira User Server" in the Users section of Jira (Step 2 Under the section "Set up JIRA to allow connections from Stash"). I am using Atlassian Hosted Jira Version 6.x and a on-prem deployment of Stash. What could be going on. I have verified the applications are correctly linked as I can associated changeset checkins with Jira issues.

What could be going on? How can I integrate user management?

Thanks!

Hi Brad, when you mentioned Atlassian Hosted, are you referring to Atlassian OnDemand (company.atlassian.net)? If so, this opition is not available on OnDemand, only JIRA standalone has this functionality.

Cheers
