Not a technology newb, but more of a git newb. I can't wrap my head around branching.
I have a repo called courses. It contains all the files for all the classes I teach at my local community college. There are folders for 8 classes I could teach.
Each semester I would like to pull only the folders I need for that semester, say class1, class3, and class5. And then Fall semester, I will pull class1, class2, and class4. I use the Sourcetree.app on macOS.
Can I do this? If so, how?
