Upgrade to "standard" still max. 2 GB Repo?

Dev Area1 August 28, 2020

Hi.

Yesterday we upgraded our Bitbucket-Account to "standard"-plan. But we still get the message "maxiumum of 2GB".

Why is it so? Our old Repos are max 2 GB and I created a new Repo. Still max 2 GB....

What is wrong?

I checked the PLan. It says "standard", so it should be 5 GB.

Any Ideas?

Greetings

Alex

Hi Alex, welcome to the Community.

Bitbucket Cloud has a maximum repository size of 2 GB, independently of which plan the user is in. This is a hard limit and once any repo surpasses the 2 GB it will be set to read-only mode until the size is decreased. This information can be found at What kind of limits do you have on repository size?

I believe you might be confused with the storage for Git LFS, which indeed will increase to 5 GB when the account is upgraded to Standard. You can find that information at Storage policy for Git LFS with Bitbucket.

I hope this explains, Alex. If you have any questions or something is not clear, please let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping you.

Best regards,

Ana
