Unable to connect to stash from Egit

Jaspreet Singh May 24, 2015

While trying to run a Git pull from Eclipse, it fails saying:

Unable to access Stash: Not licensed

The user was able to access this two days ago. There has been no changes in the user credentials (also tried by clearing credentials for push and pull repository)

The user has read access on repository as well as branch in Stash. What can I do to resolve this situation?

Check if the user has access to Stash on http://<stash base url>/admin/users . Once you click on the user's name, you get a page displaying either "stash user" or "unlicensed" under the personal details.

Probably the user's access was revoked because of a change in group memberships or a group's rights. You can give/revoke access to/of users and groups on http://<stash base url>/admin/permissions .

I dont have access to admin functions though i am an admin to the repository. The user is added to repository and branch and added as individual user and no groups have been created. Still this issue is occuring

This message is about the user having a licence to use Stash in general, not about the project settings. (It is possible to have permissions to a project/repo without having access to Stash itself.) Ask the Stash administrator to check.
