Trouble with SSH and Bitbucket Cloud to Bamboo Server using access keys

Delphine Foo-Matkin November 13, 2017

I am trying to connect our Bamboo Server instance with Bitbucket Cloud, and have set up SSH keys as described here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/use-access-keys-294486051.html

ie., I generated an SSH key on my local machine using ssh-keygen, copied the private key to a Shared Credential in Bamboo and labeled the Shared Credential with the username that will be used to log into Bitbucket Cloud through the Bamboo build; then I added an Access Key containing the public SSH key to the linked repository in Bitbucket Cloud.

When I run a test plan in Bamboo, and the plan goes to clone the repo, I get the error message: 'Host key verification failed. Could not read from the remote repository'.

Any ideas what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

I would suggest opening support ticket with Atlassian for proper investigation.
