Trigger Build button on Pull Request in Stash

There is now a 'Trigger build' button visible in the Pull Request. Using Stash 2.9.4. I upgraded 'stash webhook to jenkins' to 2.2.1.

How does this work? Is there documentation around this setup?

Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,

As you've hinted at that's an a third-party plugin. The feature was introduced here:

https://github.com/Nerdwin15/stash-jenkins-postreceive-webhook/issues/45

I can only imagine it pretends to Jenkins that there was a change in the repository that the pull request is targeting, in the same way that imagine it would if you were to push.

Is there anything specific you wanted to know? Setting up the Jenkins plugin is documented on their Github README:

https://github.com/Nerdwin15/stash-jenkins-postreceive-webhook

Cheers,

Charles

Thanks, Charles. It does not work with our current jenkin setup because we selected inverse stategy. I'll look into their setup with the stash-build-status-plugin and see if it's something we may want to implement.
